Emory College Online
Emory College Online faculty have completed an in-depth Emory College Online Teaching Strategies (ECOTS) course and worked closely with instructional designers to create an Emory College Online (ECO) course over a year-long development process. Because of their training and experience, these faculty members may be a helpful resource to any departmental colleagues who will teach remotely.

About Emory College Online
Since 2015, Emory faculty have developed and taught ECO courses to undergraduates, primarily during the summer terms.
After being selected to develop a course, all ECO faculty complete an 8-week ECOTS course and work with instructional designers to develop their online course over the course of the fall and spring semesters. This intentional process results in high-quality, highly engaging online courses that are built around the best online course design practices.
All ECO courses are part of the regular Emory College undergraduate curriculum, are limited in size, adhere to an approved blend of synchronous and asynchronous content, and are specifically (re)designed to be taught in an online environment.
