Fulbright Bootcamp

 Fulbright Bootcamp 2026

The Fulbright Bootcamp provides rising seniors and recent grads with foundational grant writing, personal essay writing, and editing skills, while completing a first draft of their Fulbright Grant application.

Sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, the Fulbright U.S. Student Program provides opportunities for newly graduated students and early alumni to spend 9-12 months conducting research or an arts project, pursuing graduate study, or teaching English in one of more than 180 countries worldwide. The Bootcamp will also give students a leg up in the process by having them seek out their international affiliations early on in the process.

Maymester Bootcamp

The Maymester Fulbright Bootcamp will run from May 12th-31st, 2026, on Emory's campus. Housing on Clairmont Campus may be available for current students (rising seniors), if needed. Alums may attend/participate, but are not eligible for campus housing. Sessions will be held in the morning and early afternoon 3-4 days a week, and participants are expected to attend all sessions. Afternoons will offer optional quiet writing hours, opportunities to meet with NS&FP advisors, and peer review workshops. Applications for the Maymester session are due by March 30th for housing support, or by April 15th.
