The National Scholarships & Fellowships Program offers a variety of resources to help current students and alumni research, select, and apply for scholarships and other opportunities.
One-on-One Appointments
Back to topNS&FP advisors are available for one-on-one in-person, phone, and Zoom advising appointments to:
- Help you identify awards for which you are eligible and may be a strong candidate
- Identify resources and opportunities to enrich your Emory experience and prepare you to apply for prestigious awards
- Provide guidance on preparing application materials and selecting recommenders
- Provide feedback on essays and other materials (e.g., CVs, cover letters)

Info Sessions & Workshops
Back to topEach year, NS&FP hosts information sessions and workshops to help familiarize students with award opportunities and prepare competitive applications. We also participate in student events and programming throughout the academic year. Check our Events page on College Connect for time and location details (alumni and graduate students should click here).
We work with departments and student groups to design customized information sessions and workshops. If you’re interested in having NS&FP present to your group or organization, please contact us.
Canvas Advising Tools
Back to topAdvising resources for potential and current applicants are available on our Canvas course, National Scholarships & Fellowships Resources. Our Canvas content includes recordings and materials from previous info sessions and workshops, award-specific advice on preparing application materials, and sample essays from previous recipients.
