Kaitlyn Lung Peer Ambassador

Kaitlyn is a third-year student from Irvine, California majoring in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology on the pre-med track. She is passionate about understanding how hormonal fluctuations and early neurodevelopmental processes shape social behavior, with implications for maternal health and Autism Spectrum Disorder. At Oxford, she studied the hormone estradiol’s role in zebrafish social behavior, and at the Marcus Autism Center, she is a Pediatric Neuroimaging Lab fellow refining computational tools to analyze infant social interactions. Kaitlyn is TEDxEmory’s Director of Special Events, a HeartStart CPR instructor, and a registered behavior technician. She received the Emory Alumni Board Leadership Scholarship and applied for the 2024 Goldwater Scholarship.
