Isabella Chow is a 4th-year student at Emory's College of Arts and Science. She is pursuing a major in Philosophy, Politics, and Law, and a minor in Dance and Movement Studies. Post-undergrad, she is hoping to pursue a joint JD/MPP and a future as a public defender and criminal legal reform policy advisor. Isabella is from Brooklyn, NY, and a big lover of coffee shops, smiski figurines, and high-adventure outdoor activities.
On campus, she is an RA for Hamilton Holmes, a first year residential community. She is the VP of Oxford-Atlanta Relations in Emory's Student Government Association. She dances with Emory Ballroom, DanceNet, and the Emory Dance Company. She is also the founder and Co-President of Emory's newly established, Justice and Law Initiative.
Beyond campus, Isabella is interning at the Federal Defenders Program, within their Capital Habeas Unit. She is a 2026 Harry S. Truman Scholar, a 2025 John Temple Scholar, and an Eagle Scout. She is excited to apply for the Bobby Jones and Marshall Scholarship this upcoming year!
