The Emory College Office of Faculty is the primary resource for faculty, and works to advance the academic mission of Emory University by supporting faculty recruitment, retention, research and teaching.
Under the leadership of Senior Associate Dean of Faculty Deboleena Roy, the office also oversees tenure and promotion review and reappointment of College faculty, faculty leave requests, and the full range of professional activity encompassed in the life-course of the faculty.

Emory College of Arts and Sciences welcomes an extraordinary group of 50 new faculty members to campus this year. They reflect ambitious recruitment and hiring over the last year.
Our newest faculty continues to enhance the diversity of the Emory community. Their contributions will push the boundaries of research and discovery, scholarly impact, and pedagogy in the liberal arts and sciences.

Fang Liu uses supercomputers to simulate the structures of molecules and the vast array of interactions that can occur during a reaction. The goal is to make predictions about how a molecule will behave under certain conditions.

National Science Foundation REU grant will support new undergraduate research in chemistry
Antonio Brathwaite of the Department of Chemistry is principal investigator for the NSF’s Research Experiences for Undergraduates grant. The program will support intensive undergraduate research for up to nine students each summer, starting next year.
