Move-In
Move-in is a campus-wide effort to welcome our newest members of the Emory community!
Move-in 2025 Dates:
- August 18, 2025: Move-in Day for Pre-Orientation and International Student Welcome (ISW) participants only.
- August 23, 2025: Move-in Day for all incoming First-Year students not participating in a Pre-Orientation program or ISW.
Booking family travel? High-level schedules for both students and families on Move-in days can be found within the app starting in May.
Move-in information will populate on the Emory Welcome App on July 15. Topics include:
- Move-in instructions and directions for each Residence Hall
- Shipping information
- Packing suggestions
- What to expect for students and parents during move-in and Orientation Week
