Internal Grants

Program to Enhance Research and Scholarship

Program to Enhance Research and Scholarship grants are run through the Office of Research Funding and Support (ORFS) of Emory College of Arts and Sciences. They can support proposals from regular Emory faculty for modest seed funding for new research, research travel, other research-related activities, and matches for equipment grants. A limited amount of funding is also available to presenters at international and national research conferences, especially in those areas where such funding is not available through external grants.

Undergraduate Global Research Fellowship

RESUBMIT Pilot Program

The RESUBMIT Pilot Program supports Emory College of Arts and Sciences faculty in strengthening and resubmitting external grant proposals. In partnership with the Office of the Senior Vice President for Research (SVPR), the program provides financial incentives and structured feedback to help researchers improve proposal competitiveness and increase funding success rates. Each participating investigator will receive guidance through a mock review process, modeled after external agency panels, to refine their proposals based on reviewer feedback. Eligible faculty who complete a qualifying mock review and resubmit their proposals may receive a $2,000 incentive award to their discretionary research account. The program is open to regular, full-time faculty in Emory College seeking external funding of $10,000 or more. Faculty reviewers engaged in the mock review process will receive $500 honoraria for their service.

The RESUBMIT Pilot Program will be accepting applications via InfoReady through May 31, 2026.
