Cheyenne Ross is a Writing Specialist for the National Scholarship and Fellowship Program and a PhD student in the African American Studies department. Her research interests confront current concerns around higher education’s historical connections to slavery and dispossession to further decolonize and support reparative justice efforts. She was an IRB Editor and Acquisitions Editor for NYU's Journal of Student Affairs during her master's program and has extensive experience in mentorship and advising, which she brings into her position as Writing Specialist.
