The Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellowship places individuals with backgrounds in the STEM fields into teaching positions in high-need secondary schools in Pennsylvania. Fellows receive admission to a specially-designed master’s degree program at a Woodrow Wilson partner university, extensive professional development and mentoring, and a $30,000 stipend for a full-time year of master’s study. Fellows commit to teaching for at least three years in an urban or rural school district upon completion of their master’s degree. Applicants must have an outstanding academic record, a major and/or strong professional background in a STEM field, and a demonstrated commitment to serving students in underprivileged areas.
