  • Proven leadership ability and involvement

The Mount Vernon Leadership Fellows program is a six-week summer institute for rising college juniors to cultivate leadership skills. As a part of this program, students meet with national leaders, engage with other fellows, and collaborate with their assigned mentor on their individual capstone projects. Applicants are evaluated on academic achievement, leadership ability, and demonstrated interest in the proposed capstone project.
