Brenton Boyd is a PhD student in English and Writing Specialist with the National Scholarships & Fellowships Program. As a George W. Woodruff Fellow, Centennial Scholar, UNCF/Mellon Mays Fellow, and IRT Associate, their research on queer Caribbean literature and philosophy has been generously supported. Before joining Emory in 2018, Brenton upheld a distinct record of experience in writing and humanities tutoring. They have been with NSFP since Fall 2019.
