Ariel Lawrence is Graduate Writing Specialist for the National Scholarship and Fellowship Program here at Emory. Her role is to assist Emory students in shaping essays and other written materials for various applications, especially -- but not exclusively -- students who work in the Humanities and Social Sciences. Ariel is a Doctoral candidate in the English Department whose research focuses Black Nonfiction; she has ample experience as a writing instructor, editor, and tutor.
