Biography

Liz received her Master’s Degree in Sociology from Loyola University Chicago, and is currently working toward a PhD in Emory University’s Sociology Department. Her academic research examines the causes of growing race-related item nonresponse in social surveys. While at Emory she has received a number of awards for her teaching, service and commitment to diversity. She joined the National Scholarships and Fellowships program in 2016.
