Emory Essentials

Over the summer you will complete a series of online learning modules known as Emory Essentials. Released in four parts, Emory Essentials will cover:

  • Emory Essentials 1: The Wise Heart Seeks Knowledge - Opens May 12
  • Emory Essentials 2: The Wise Heart Seeks Exploration - Opens June 15
  • Emory Essentials 3: The Wise Heart Seeks Community - Opens July 15
  • Emory Essentials 4: The Wise Heart Seeks Belonging - Opens July 15

Students will access Emory Essentials via and will require internet access to complete. This being said, modules are released periodically throughout the Summer in order to provide timely resources, and do not need to be completed in one sitting. Please note, students will need internet access in order to complete Course Registration (more information will be available within Emory Essentials modules).

Emory Essentials is comprised of four modules. Each will vary in time and include additional optional resources that may add more time to complete. We recommend setting aside at least 2-3 hours to complete each module.

Note: You do not need to complete modules in one sitting. Feel free to take your time to process the information throughout your completion of Emory Essentials. Canvas will track your progress and let you pick back up where you left off.
