As you may have noticed, some things about us have changed, including our name. We are no longer known as SIRE (Scholarly Inquiry and Research at Emory). We have changed our name to Undergraduate Research Programs. This change reflects new additions to our existing programs, particularly in the area of summer programs, and new directions in terms of our support for undergraduate research at Emory College.
Central to Undergraduate Research Programs is our mission to:
- Support undergraduate research opportunities for students and faculty in all fields of study, across a student's full career.
- Guide graduate students and Postdocs who provide an important role in UG research efforts.
- Support the development of UG research efforts in departments and programs, and cross-disciplinary research connections.
