ESL Peer Tutoring Employment

ESL tutoring is a paid position. Tutors are hired annually each Spring semester for the following academic year, and receive comprehensive training which takes place over the summer and at the start of the Fall semester. Training  consists of both online and onsite components.

To be eligible, applicants must be:

  • Emory undergraduates in good academic standing (3.5 GPA preferred)

  • Fully fluent in English

  • Available to work 6-10 hours each week for the entire semester

  • Able to start immediately after training is completed

  • Reliable and patient with the learning process
