Peer Mentoring & Tutoring


Peer Mentoring

EPASS Mentors offer weekly collaborative group learning sessions to explore concepts, review class notes, discuss reading assignments, practice test-taking strategies, and review for quizzes and exams. Mentors for each course are undergraduates who have successfully completed the course and are supported by the faculty members associated with each class. We currently offer sessions for BIOL141/142, BIOL301, BIOL336, CHEM150/202, CHEM203/204, CHEM203Z, PHYS141/142, PHYS151/152, PHYS116 and QTM100.

Peer Tutoring

EPASS Peer Tutoring is designed to provide content specific support while fostering the development of the independent learner. Any student enrolled in an Emory College course that is supported by EPASS is eligible for 2 hours of peer tutoring per week. The EPASS Peer Tutoring programs operates seven days a week between 8:30 a.m. and 9 p.m.
