We realize that with the large number of online courses being offered this semester, students may have technology issues that they may face. Student Technology Support (STS) is a free service for Emory students providing technical support and assistance for a variety of issues on student-owned devices.
Please visit the Student Digital Life website for more information and contact details.
For students who will be physically present on campus, we know that there may be need to reserve space to take part in an online class if you are unable to return to your place of residence, or to use other campus facilities such as the library.
Please note that students should review room or space signage and comply fully with health and safety measures, including but not limited to: wearing a face covering, washing hands, observing physical distancing, and cleaning desks and materials before and after use. Specific instructions can be found in each room or by contacting the room provider.
Reservable Classrooms
Emory College has reserved classrooms in Candler Library for students who can't make it to their residence hall room or apartment in time to join an online session following an in-person course. Students will be required to follow the appropriate health and safety signage in the individual rooms, and reservations can be made through 25Live, the University's room booking application. Please note that these rooms are only available to be used by 1 student, so that they may remove their face covering. This is necessary in order to fully participate in online courses.
Emory Libraries
The staff of Emory Libraries have compiled a Quick Start summary filled with tips on how to access materials, ask our experts for help, and book virtual and on-site appointments. Their Fall 2020 overview includes answers to many of your frequently asked questions and a summary of their services and spaces.
In addition, the Services at a Glance document gives an easy graphical overview of services and reservation links.
