In addition to their pre-major or major advisor, all F-1 international students at Emory College of Arts and Sciences have an assigned OUE advisor, Dr Frank Gaertner. Dr Gaertner works with international students on course planning, degree progress, and navigating challenges or concerns that may occur.

International Student and Scholar Services

International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) is a university-level office that provides multiple support services to international students, including help with visas and other regulatory documents.

International Student Life

International Student Life facilitates the out-of-class support many students need during their transition to the United States. This support focuses on the areas of building community, promoting intercultural education campus-wide, and addressing individual student concerns.

International Transient Study

International Transient Study allows students on an F-1 or J-1 visa, with less than 64 hour academic credit hours earned, return to their country of origin during the summer and enroll as a guest at another accredited school and earn credit towards their Emory degree.
