Leave of Absence
There are some occasions where it may be in the best interests of a student to take a leave of absence from Emory College. Students who plan to take a leave of absence during a semester in which they are not currently enrolled should complete the Leave of Absence Notification form. The form must be received no later than the end of the add/drop/swap period in the semester for with the leave is to take place. Students who want to discuss the implications of a leave of absence should schedule an in-person or phone appointment with an academic advisor in the Office for Undergraduate Education.
