How Do I Apply To Graduate?
In order to graduate, you must first apply. To apply for graduation you must complete the Senior Application Packet. The Senior Degree Application Packet consists of five components:
The confirmation page verifying that the student has applied to graduate in OPUS
The Course Completion Review
The Student Activities Questionnaire
The Academic Advising Report
The Senior Exit Survey Confirmation Page.
Once you have completed your packet, you must submit it to the Office for Undergraduate Education.
Senior Degree Applications Packets (PDF) are available online; more detailed instructions on how to complete each component and submit the packet are included in the PDF.
Deadlines for degree applications can be found by visiting the website for the Office of the Registrar. If your application is received after the degree application deadline for the term in which you wish to graduate, you will incur a late fee of $25. Please note that if you are a spring semester applicant and you submit your application after March 31, you will not receive your diploma during Commencement and your name will not appear in the commencement program.
What Happens Next?
After you have submitted your application packet to the Office for Undergraduate Education, your packet will be reviewed by Aileen Taylor, Assistant Director of Advising, to confirm that everything is in order. Providing you have met all of the stated graduation requirements you'll be on your way to Commencement. If there are any issues or questions, we will be in touch with you.
