Biography

Within the Office for Undergraduate Education (OUE), Steve is responsible for communication efforts from OUE including web strategy and development (liaising closely with the College Web Team), the Course Atlas, College Catalog, and various print and e-mail communication efforts.  He works closely with the Academic Advising team and is responsible for ASST, our Advising and Support Scheduling Tool. Some of the major projects Steve has led or contributed to during his time with OUE include the development of the new online College catalog, the College credit hour change and the Semester Online initiative.

Outside of OUE, Steve has served as the faculty/staff advisor for the Kappa Sigma fraternity since 2011.

Born and raised near Edinburgh, Scotland, Steve graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science (with Honors) in Mathematics from the University of St Andrews in 2007 and spent a year as a Robert T. Jones Jr Memorial Scholarship Scholar at Emory University. Prior to joining OUE staff in 2011, Steve led communication efforts in the Office of International Student and Scholar Services at Emory University, after a brief stint working with the Emory College Director of Orientation.
