Carlee Beard is a Program Administrative Assistant in the Office for Undergraduate Education and assistant to Dean Jason Ciejka. She also provides administrative support for the College Faculty Senate and the Curriculum, Assessment and Educational Policy Committee.

New to Atlanta, Carlee comes to Emory after working at the Center of Theological Inquiry, an independent research institution in Princeton, NJ. There, she supported the visiting scholar program that brought in scholars from the U.S. and abroad to participate in resident research teams composed of theologians and scholars in the sciences and humanities. Carlee is very excited to be working closely with many of excellent faculty members at Emory and is enjoying the challenge of adapting to the new Faculty Governance structure.

Growing up in Seattle, Carlee developed a deep love for rain, pine trees, mountains and coffee. When not at work, Carlee can be found exploring Atlanta's great coffee shops, singing for fun, or walking her English Bulldog, Lewis.
