As Director of Operations, Amy Stalzer oversees the centralized operational processes of the OUE including budget, front desk reception, events, student records, data and technology, and communications. She works closely with the deans and directors of OUE to support office initiatives. Amy also manages staff professional development on behalf of the office. Prior to joining OUE in 2017, she spent nine years at Emory’s Goizueta Business School in a leadership role within the MBA Admissions Office.
Amy is originally from New York but now a long-time Atlanta resident. Her educational studies and research have focused on issues of college enrollment and retention for freshmen, for women, and for Latino-Hispanic students. Amy’s dissertation work in sociology of education examined the role of social capital in higher education. Amy also has a special interest in the educational success of U.S. military veterans.
