Biography

Jason Ciejka supports the Senior Associate Dean on issues pertaining to curriculum, assessment, and educational policy and liaises with financial aid and development in the awarding of endowed scholarships. He is also responsible for overseeing the academic misconduct process for undergraduates in Emory College. Dean Ciejka coordinates the selection process for senior commencement awards and serves as OUE liaison to Phi Eta Sigma freshman honor society. Prior to his current appointment, he worked as Associate Director of the College Honor Council.

Dean Ciejka graduated from the College of William and Mary where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He received an MA and PhD in Art History from Emory. His academic interests center on architecture, art theory, and biography in early modern Italy, especially seventeenth-century Rome. He has taught courses for Emory University, Spelman College, Agnes Scott College, and Kennesaw State University, and a study abroad program in Europe for the Georgia Institute of Technology.
