Canvas Studio Resources
Canvas Studio is a useful tool for the asynchronous delivery of lectures and other messages to students. Canvas Studio allows users (both faculty and students) to easily upload videos to Canvas.
Canvas Studio is a media tool that allows students and instructors to upload, create, edit, manage, share and discuss audio and video files. Studio is ideal for short (5-10 minute) lecture segments, supplemental content, or short student assignments. If you would like to record a longer lecture, it is best to use another tool, like Zoom or VoiceThread. Please keep in mind that the best practice for asynchronous lectures is always to break long lectures into 5-10 minute segments.
Existing files can be used or new ones can be created with Studio's capture and editing tools.
