Dana Tottenham is Senior Associate Director, Global Internships within the Office of International and Summer Programs (OISP) at Emory College of Arts and Sciences, Emory University. She developed and is responsible for the Emory College Global Internship Program. She oversaw the implementation of Terra Dotta in varied instances across the unit. In collaboration with campus stakeholders and lead faculty, she facilitated launching the pilot ECS 102: Liberal Arts Edge course and connected initiatives.
Her professional areas of interest include the intersections of applied anthropology, education, and global mobility. She has worked as an international educator for over 20 years in capacities ranging from program development, project management, business analysis, technology implementation, student advising and administration. She has completed training and workshops with professional organizations including NAFSA: Association of International Educators, Forum on Education Abroad, Stanford's Life Design Studio, and Society for Applied Anthropology. She currently serves on the Leadership Team for the Global Leadership League and on the Engaged Anthropology Committee for the Department of Anthropology at Georgia State University.
A proud native Texan, Dana lives in Decatur, Georgia with her husband and two sons, is an engaged volunteer in her community (Swim Team, Scouts, Chorus mom), and loves to swim, run, and eat Tex-Mex.
