Open to international students: No
- Have a GPA of 3.7 or higher
- Be aged 19-25
- Be a currently enrolled undergraduate senior
- Be accepted to an eligible Sciences Po program (eligible programs include any two-year master’s program taught entirely at Sciences Po; The Master in Public Policy, dual degrees with other institutions, and executive training courses are ineligible)
The Michel David-Weill Scholarship provides up to $80,000 toward education and cost of living expenses for students undertaking a two-year master’s program at Sciences Po in Paris, France. The David-Weill Scholarship is awarded annually to one American student who exemplifies the core values embodied by Michel David-Weill, including academic excellence, leadership, multiculturalism, tolerance, and high achievement. Prior knowledge of French is not required, as most programs offered at Sciences Po are taught in English. Master’s programs at Sciences Po combine academic excellence with professional development; programs include three academic semesters culminating in an additional semester of internship or academic work at an international partner university. Programs are available in a variety of disciplines and specializations including communications, development, economics, finance, history, international affairs, journalism, law, political science, public affairs, public policy, sociology, and urban affairs. Successful candidates have outstanding academic achievement, demonstrated capacity for critical analysis, substantive leadership experience, and a proven commitment to community. - Personal statement (no more than 500 words) explaining motivation for applying to the David-Weill Scholarship

Emory may nominate one candidate, who will complete the external application process, including application, 1,000 word personal statement, three letters of recommendation, recent graded research paper, and application to a Sciences Po master’s program.
