- Be a student who has demonstrated significant leadership within one or more of the recognized Jewish organizations on the Emory campus and/or within the greater Emory community.
The Sam Bredow Memorial Fund was established to assist students in the Emory College of Arts and Sciences who are in need of financial aid and who have demonstrated significant leadership within one or more of the recognized Jewish organizations on the Emory campus and/or within the greater Emory community and have a strong record of academic achievement. The award, up to $5,000 applied toward next year’s tuition, is given to a small number of students each year. The funds will be awarded in two parts: half in fall semester 2017 and half in spring semester 2018. This is a one-year award; renewal is not automatic. Previous recipients are eligible to apply for a second year of funding, but may receive no more than two years’ support.
