The College Web Team currently develops and creates new College sites using Cascade Server in the standard University template.
If your site was created using Adobe Dreamweaver, the recommended web editing software is Adobe Contribute. We recommend it because it is VERY easy to learn and use, and it allows for quicker updating of your web content.
Adobe Contribute
In order for the Web Team to configure your Contribute software to access your website, you must first purchase it for approximately $55 and have it installed by ECLL.
The Web Team will provide a basic overview of Contribute after we have configured your site. For additional training support, please contact Emory's Center for Interactive Teaching (ECIT), located in the main Woodruff Library, on the second floor, in room 217. The Web Team also provides a basic Contribute Authoring Handbook (PDF), that supplements the training you receive from ECIT.
Adobe Dreamweaver
The Web Team does not provide training for Dreamweaver. If you choose to use it, Dreamweaver can be purchased for approximately $110 and installed by ECLL.
However, customized one-on-one training in updating your web site's content and designing web sites with Dreamweaver is available through Emory's Center for Interactive Teaching (ECIT), located in the main Woodruff Library, on the second floor, in room 217.
The Web Team also provides a very basic Dreamweaver manual (PDF), that supplements the training you receive from ECIT.
