Access to site
If you are requesting a new web site or trying to connect to an already-existing web site for which you are an approved editor, contact us.
In addition, non-Emory students or employees require a department-sponsored account, which should be requested online at http://help.emory.edu (select the option for sponsored accounts).

- Connect with Dreamweaver or with BitKinex via WebDAV
Site won't load in web browser
If you are unable to access your website through your browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari), the problem is likely a network problem and Emory is already working to fix it. You should report such problems to Emory's IT department by submitting a request at http://help.emory.edu or by calling 404-727-7777.
Software
The recommended web editing software for most departments and organizations, whose web site it not yet in Cascade Server, is Adobe Contribute.
It is recommended because it is VERY easy to learn and use, and it allows for quicker updating of your web content. We provide basic overview when we setup your Contribute access, as well as a Contribute Authoring Handbook (PDF). If you choose to use Adobe Dreamweaver, there is only limited support, and no training available. In order to use either of these software options, you need to:
- Purchase the software (Contribute is approximately $55, Dreamweaver $110) through your local IT person.
- Have your local IT support person install the software on your computer(s).
- Contact us, so we can configure the Contribute software access for you.
