An external vendor is defined as anyone other than our College Web Team (including student workers or Emory staff).

• Departments/Programs using external vendors to create their web site are required to request a consultation with the College Web Team before signing a contract. We will help you purchase a web site that will work on our servers and follows the College design standards, as well as aid you in giving clear directions to the vendor as to your needs.
• Vendors used to design departmental web sites should follow our coding standards for best compatibility and must comply with College design guidelines.

Be aware that we cannot support sites created by external vendors. We recommend that you purchase a support contract from your vendor for support and troubleshooting
