Before planning your website, departments are required to request a consultation with the College Web Team.

In the past, we have had situations develop where an external vendor developed a site that then was delivered to Emory that was technically incapable of being installed in the Emory web hosting environment.  We’ve also had sites developed that violated the University web & branding guidelines, as well as the College’s own internal design guidelines.  And we’ve had sites developed using tools with which we are not proficient or which are not approved by the University, meaning we can’t help you with your site.  Following our standards will help us all help each other.
