English as a Second Language (ESL) Support Program Undergraduates

Emory's undergraduate curriculum places high demands on listening proficiency, oral communication, reading comprehension, writing skills, vocabulary development, and grammar.  To partner with students for whom English is an additional language, the ESL Program offers sections of English 101 and English 221 with ESL support, appointments with writing tutors trained to support non-native speakers of English, workshops focused on improving students' writing and communication, and many other opportunities.
