Semester Details:

Focusing on Merleau-Ponty's Phenomenology of Perception, we will investigate the phenomenological method, the intentional structure of consciousness, the embodied character of experience, and the interpersonal character of experience.  We will also read selections from Husserl's Ideas I and several essays by contemporary philosophers influenced by Merleau-Ponty.
