Catalog Description: Every semester. Intensive basic grammar course, with prose selections to develop only the reading skill. This course is primarily for graduate students and has no connection with the undergraduate French language sequence. No previous knowledge of French necessary. In certain departments this course may be substituted for the GSFLT or a departmental reading exam in French. Consult appropriate departmental representatives for details. Does not count toward the major or minor in French.
