Questions? Contact Beverly Clark, Emory College Director of Communications.

Faculty Forums: GER Review

The Emory College Faculty Senate has established a working group to review the General Education Requirements. This group is seeking the opportunity to share its preliminary ideas with faculty in the College and hear your feedback.

Faculty interested in talking about the general education requirements and providing feedback to the committee for its report, should RSVP to OUE.dean@emory.edu to attend one of these open faculty forums. Upcoming forums will take place:

  • 9-10 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 20, 200 White Hall; and
  • 4-5 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 26, 200 White Hall.

If there is interest, the Working Group will schedule other opportunities for faculty to provide feedback after spring break.

Now Available: Faculty Financial Summary Dashboard

The Faculty Financial Summary dashboard is now available and allows faculty to access sponsored and non-sponsored information on demand. It is intended to serve as an "online bank account" view of a faculty member’s portfolio, providing current balances based on expenses that have already occurred.

To access, faculty can log into EBI using their Emory net ID and password. After logging in, the faculty member would click on the Dashboards menu in the upper right corner of the page and select Faculty Financial Summary in the All Emory folder. Additional information on the Faculty Financial Summary dashboard can be found here.

For questions regarding sponsored account content, contact your department’s CAPS RAS representative. For non-sponsored account content, contact your department’s College Finance Administration representative.

The partial withdrawal deadline for the fall semester is Friday, March 8. Students must turn their completed withdrawal forms into OUE no later than 4 p.m., March 8. Students are required to ask their instructor to sign their withdrawal form. Please note: Your signature doesn’t indicate your approval of the decision by the student, just that they have had a conversation with you about the decision.

Letters of Recommendation for Pre-Health Students

Pre-Health Advising has implemented important changes to the Letter of Recommendation process this year. The process is now fully online, making it easier for faculty to submit letters to our office. For specifics regarding the change, including the deadlines to submit letters for the Composite Letter, and the steps to complete the new process strong click here.

Declaration of Majors
