Scholarships & Fellowships

Scholarships and Fellowships

Below are brief descriptions of awards open to current Emory students. Most of these awards are for Emory University undergraduates, a few are for Emory College of Arts & Sciences undergraduates only, and some are also available to recent graduates in all schools in the University (for example Rhodes, Marshall, Luce). For further information, please contact Dr. Dee McGraw (404-727-6160 or nationalawards@emory.edu). You may also come in to the National Scholarships and Fellowships office, 300 White Hall, during drop-in hours.

For information on merit-based scholarships for incoming freshman, please review the information on the Emory Scholars programs. For need-based financial aid information other than the scholarships and fellowships listed below, please contact the Financial Aid Office.

Other Scholarship Programs Available to Undergraduates:

Other Resources

The National Scholarships Office receives a great deal of unsolicited publicity about various funding opportunities for students, including specialized scholarships, internships, language immersion programs, and research assistantships, both in the US and abroad. While we cannot research everything we receive and do not play a role in administering the awards, we would like to make the information available to students.

Our office maintains an Excel database, linked below, with the most up-to-date data for each award.  There are also several websites that aggregate award information; as we become aware of these sites, we’ll list them below.

All of the information in the “Other Resources” section has been obtained from outside sources. Therefore, the National Scholarships and Fellowships office takes no responsibility for information contained therein and provides the information only as an additional tool for students seeking funding. However, if you have general questions or would like help interpreting a certain requirement or question, we would happy to assist.
