Based on input from faculty, staff and students, a position prospectus has been created. The Search Advisory Committee welcomes your nominations of potential candidates and input about the search. For full consideration, applications should be submitted by December 1, 2009.
Several opportunities for outreach to the College community and the wider campus have been scheduled. Outreach efforts include on-campus meetings with the Search Advisory Committee members and the search consultant, with College chairs, directors, faculty and staff, with each of the faculty council groups, and with students.
Search Advisory Committee
A Search Advisory Committee has been formed under the leadership of search Chair Lisa Tedesco, Dean of the Laney Graduate School and Co-Chair Micheal Giles, Goodrich C. White Professor of Political Science. The search is being assisted by Storbeck/Pimentel search consultants with Shelly Weiss-Storbeck representing the firm. The committee is committed to a process that will be consultative in nature, with opportunities for members of the Emory community to express their expectations and aspirations for a new Dean of Emory College.
